1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the catalog and keep the app reliable:

• Anonymous device identifier — a random ID created on your device and stored locally. It may be sent with API requests so we can measure basic usage and diagnose issues. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID.
• App usage events — for example opening a title card. In the App Store informational mode we keep this to a minimum.
• Search queries — sent to our catalog servers only to return matching titles.
• Local preferences — settings and on-device data (such as saved titles when that feature is available) stored on your device via system storage.
• Technical logs — standard server logs such as IP address, time, and request path may be processed briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

3. Data we do not collect

• No account registration is required for the informational App Store experience.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or ad trackers in AniGuide.
• We do not ask for access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location for the catalog experience.

4. Optional features outside App Store informational mode

Some builds or configurations may enable additional features such as offline saving or nearby sharing with another device. Those features use permissions only when you use them (for example Bluetooth or local network) and process data needed for that feature. The App Store informational listing focuses on browsing catalog information only.

5. How we use data

• Provide catalog search and title details
• Improve stability and understand which screens work
• Prevent abuse and keep servers secure

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may use infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN) that process technical request data under their own terms solely to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

7. Retention

Anonymous analytics events and server logs are kept only as long as useful for operations and then deleted or aggregated. Local data stays on your device until you clear app data or uninstall AniGuide.

8. Children

AniGuide is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13. If you believe we collected data from a child, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your choices

• You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time.
• You can request deletion of server-side analytics tied to your anonymous device ID by emailing us from a device you control and including the request.
• iOS Settings also let you review system permissions granted to apps.

10. International processing

Our servers may be located outside your country. By using AniGuide you understand that catalog requests and limited analytics may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards for a consumer reference app.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
